Un'arena di gladiatori nell'Egitto romano, la seconda mappa di Black Ops 4. Scarlett, Diego, Bruno e Shaw respirano i vapori di un oracolo a Delfi e si risvegliano prigionieri del Sommo Sacerdote del Caos, gettati nei giochi contro i non morti. La partita inizia in un tunnel che porta nell'arena. L'arena è la First Room: le porte sul suo perimetro aprono i templi di Danu e Ra, e tutto il resto si trova dietro di essi.

Sui suoi muri ci sono lo Strife e l'Essex Model 07, 500 punti ciascuno. Non c'è nessun altare dei perk: tutti e quattro si trovano dentro i templi. La folla tiene il punteggio. Uccidi in fretta e lancia un power-up nell'arena ogni round; incassa colpi e lancia sterco che costa 250 punti, poi oggetti che fanno male. Le tigri zombie compaiono a caso. L'obiettivo del gioco stesso, My Home is the Arena, chiede il round 20 senza aprire un cancello.

The IX First Room leaderboard on Zombie First Room Rankings tracks every verified run held in the starting room of IX, on Call of Duty : Black Ops 4. 92 records are listed here, and the best rounds on record are 42 in solo by ViXTEY, 41 in 2 giocatori by ThePrettyRabbit, 36 in 3 giocatori by ThePrettyRabbit and 31 in 4 giocatori by edguy9187.

IX counts in the Purist ranking, in solo and with two players. Its difficulty coefficient — solo 6.1 and two players 4.7 — multiplies every round reached here, and also weighs its rounds in the ZFRR rating of the players who hold them. Three and four-player runs are listed here and count in the rating only.

First Room is the purest discipline in Call of Duty Zombies: no Pack-a-Punch run around the map, no easter egg, no train through open ground. You hold the spawn room of IX, you keep the doors closed, and you push the round counter as far as the horde allows. Every high round, world record and personal best on this page is backed by its video and checked against the reference boards before it is listed.

Black Ops 4 First Rooms are tracked in eight categories. Purist (Hardcore) is the reference: reach the highest round you can without opening any door or barrier, every round played in full, no glitch or exploit, and in solo and with two players it scores points in the Purist ranking. The seven other categories, from Normal to Realistic difficulty, with or without elixirs, count in the player ratings only.

Purist significa niente elisir e niente talismani, solo Frag Grenade e Acid Bomb, il Welling o un'arma a muro per iniziare, e nessuna arma speciale. Tag der Toten e Dead of the Night si giocano sulle mutazioni personalizzate indicate dalle loro regole.
