Test the Emergency Broadcast System

1. Buy the Galvaknuckles in the back of the red truck in the Cul-de-sac.
2. One of the old televisions of the bunker shows static. Kill a zombie next to it with the Galvaknuckles: a test card appears and a voice reads five codes, each a letter followed by four digits.
3. Each letter is a house, written on its mailbox: A the Yellow House, B the Green House, C Prisoner Holding, D the Transfusion Facility, E Operations and F the APD Interrogation. The digits are a time.
4. In the order given, set the punch clock of each house to its time: interact to move it 15 minutes forward, melee it to move it an hour forward. A mistake means starting again from the first code.
5. Each correct clock unlocks a trap in its house, or a weapon: a free Pack-a-Punched weapon in Prisoner Holding and a free Porter’s Mark II Ray Gun upstairs in Operations.
6. Use the clock of the sixth house, the one with no code. Its hands spin and stop on a time: enter it on the keypad next to Rushmore. He still refuses access to the APD.

The television

The old set that shows the test card and reads the codes, once a zombie is killed next to it with the Galvaknuckles.

The core values

1. Pursue all avenues of science and invention: find the glowing red Nova 6 Crawler in the bunker and lead it, alive, to the staircase of the Transfusion Facility, where it climbs over a bookcase. It dies in a single hit.
2. Preserve the integrity of our mission: on the stairs between the Diner and the Green House Backyard, melee a locked door: Marlton Johnson hides behind it with a stolen canister of Element 115. He only throws it out when Sergeant A.D.A.M. stands next to the door. Put the canister back on its shelf in the Transfusion Facility.
3. Prevail over the impossible to open new worlds: make a Jolting Jack shoot the casing of a server in the Power House, then carry the server to its slot in Operations before it overheats, with the Telepads set up for the trip. Rushmore then wants three codes: with a Brain Rot zombie, knock down the three paintings that leak green smoke, in the Green House upstairs, in the Beds and in the Lounge, and enter their codes within a minute of each other.
4. Protect the values of the American Dream: the power fails. Set the six power boxes of the bunker, Lounge down, Diner up, Beds up, Solitary down, Generators up and Storage down, then pull the switch of the Power House again.
5. Prepare for tomorrow and humanity’s future: new A.D.A.M. units appear, and one of them sparks. Stay next to it until it breaks, three times, to collect a head and two arms. Fix the broken A.D.A.M. of the APD Interrogation with them: it holds the soul of Peter McCain, who grants access to the APD. Then find the Elemental Orb and follow it, without straying, back to the APD Interrogation, where McCain’s soul moves into it.

The Avogadro

1. At the console bank of APD Control, start the last step. A.D.A.M. units come in; kill them near the APD to fill its soul canister.
2. The APD opens on the Avogadro: Cornelius Pernell, the director of the base. The alert goes to midnight, the bunker locks down and a nuclear bomb goes off above.
3. Fill the four backup soul canisters, in the Lounge, the Diner, the Storage and the Beds, with every player in the room. The Avogadro follows the players and attacks them. Each full canister drops a Max Ammo and a Carpenter, then the Avogadro fills that room with electricity: leave it at once.
4. Back in APD Control, push the Avogadro by shooting at him, or lead him, to the stairs of the APD. It pulls him in. Use the console: he is sent to the Hanford site, in Washington.
5. The APD opens again on the Elemental Shard. Taking it starts the ending cutscene.

The final boss. Damage does not hurt him: he can only be pushed by gunfire.

The ending

Outside, the crater of the nuclear blast. In a garage, Primis Nikolai holds the shard: „We have what we came for… the Elemental Shard.“ Maxis then calls on the radio: in the basement of the House, in Agartha, he sends Samantha and Eddie through the MTD just before Doctor Monty kills him. Samantha arrives at Camp Edward and, in her rage, destroys it. She tells Eddie that they will fight the Great War, then go back to the House to burn it all down.
