Starting loadout

On Blood of the Dead, every player starts with a knife and the weapons of their own Black Ops 4 loadout: a starting weapon among those unlocked, a lethal grenade and a Specialist Weapon.

Starting weapons

The Welling, the Strife, the RK 7 Garrison, the Saug 9mm, the Essex Model 07 or the MOG 12, depending on the loadout.

Lethal and support equipment

Frag Grenades, Acid Bombs, the Claymore, Wraith Fire or the Sentry.

Specialist Weapons

The Hellfire, the Overkill, the Path of Sorrows or the Ragnarok DG-5.

Mystery Box

950 points a spin. The Box of Alcatraz is the dark spiked chest of Mob of the Dead, floating over a burning stand, and when it is about to move a spinning padlock rises from it instead of the teddy bear. Its spots are in New Industries, the Power House, the Recreation Yard, the Cafeteria, Sally Port, the Warden’s House and the Docks; the first one is New Industries or the Power House. As everywhere in Black Ops 4, a player can share the weapon they pulled with a teammate.

Besides the weapons of Black Ops 4, the Box holds the Ray Gun, the Ray Gun Mark II, the Blundergat and the Monkey Bomb.

Blundergat from the Box

The four-barreled shotgun of Mob of the Dead is rare in the Box. A free one can be earned with five hidden skulls.

Wonder weapons

Blundergat

A four-barreled shotgun, from the Box or from the five skulls. It turns into the Acidgat with a kit and into the Magmagat in a forge.

Hell’s Retriever

A tomahawk that comes back to the hand, obtained by feeding the three Cerberus heads. It upgrades to the Hell’s Redeemer.

Spectral Shield

The shield of the map, which drains souls and fires Spirit Blasts.

Golden Spork

The melee weapon of Mob of the Dead, reached through the Spoon, then upgraded to the Golden Scalpel and the Golden Spork Knife.

The Blundergat, the Acidgat and the Magmagat

Pack-a-Punch names

Essex Model 07

Becomes the Quartermaster’s Repeater, fully automatic with a 30-round magazine.

RK 7 Garrison

Becomes the Rapskallion 3D, with a 30-round magazine and 240 in reserve.

Blundergat upgrades

The Blundergat becomes The Sweeper, the Acidgat the Vitriolic Withering and the Magmagat the Magmus Operandi.
