A new song for the remaster

Samantha’s Sorrow is a song by Kevin Sherwood, first heard at the end of the main quest of Revelations. Zombies Chronicles hides it in five of its remastered maps behind a short hide-and-seek quest with a doll of Samantha. On Shi No Numa on Black Ops III, it starts in the Fishing Hut and gives a Max Ammo as well as the song. It does not exist on World at War or Black Ops.

Steps

  1. Open the way to the Fishing Hut.
  2. Find the four pans hanging inside the hut and shoot each of them, in any order.
  3. A doll of Samantha appears in the small room of the hut, on a pile of fish and debris. Interact with it: it disappears.
  4. Dolls appear on the posts of the bridge between the Fishing Hut and the main hut. Shoot each one until it disappears.
  5. Go back to the small room, where the doll now spins. Interact with it a last time.

The doll

Lying on the pile of fish and debris of the small room, where it first appears.

The reward

A skeletal arm rises from the ground and takes the doll. A Max Ammo drops and Samantha’s Sorrow starts to play.

The other songs and radios

The secrets of the original are all still there. The One plays after the telephone of the Comm Room is used three times, and the three radios of the Storage Hut, the Comm Room and the Doctor’s Quarters tell how the crew was thrown into the future. They are described in the book of the Black Ops version. The remaster adds a fifth radio, with Dr. Monty, in the spawn room.

In the First Room

None of it can be done doors closed: the Fishing Hut, its pans and the bridge are all behind the doors of the main hut. Only the radio of Dr. Monty, in the spawn room, can be heard in a First Room game.
