The wonder weapon

On Shi No Numa, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 is back as the wonder weapon of the map. A radio of Von List explains that his troops left the prototype behind when they withdrew from the site. It can be built for free, or drawn from the Mystery Box for 950 points once round 10 is reached: a second DG-2 is then added to the Box.

Wunderwaffe DG-2

Three charges in the magazine and twelve in reserve at the start, fifteen at most. Each bolt chains through up to ten zombies.

Wunderwaffe DG-3

The Pack-a-Punched version, which drops the „JZ“ of the older games. Six charges in the magazine and thirty in reserve, with a blue camo that changes a little at each tier.

Season Four patches made it reload faster, fixed zombies that did not always die when hit, and let a dropped DG-2 keep its Pack-a-Punch tier when its owner dies or leaves the game.

The workbench

The blueprint of the weapon hangs over a workbench in the Storage Hut, where the parts appear as they are found. The build needs a weapon barrel and three vacuum tubes; one of the tubes already lies on the workbench, but it is not charged.

The blueprint

The design of Ulrich Vogel, who based it on the work of his former assistant Oskar Strauss.

Building it

  1. The barrel. Take the weapon barrel from a shelf in the Fishing Hut, on the right as you enter.
  2. The lightning. Place the barrel in the green generator outside the Comm Room. At the next round, lightning strikes it and a defense begins: Boom Schreiers and Sturmkriegers attack it for about a minute. When the enemies stop coming, take the barrel back.
  3. The first tube. Inside the Comm Room, pick up the charged vacuum tube from the radio, and the electrical fuse from a desk.
  4. The second tube. Turn on the electric trap of the Storage Hut until it breaks, repair it with the fuse, turn it on again and kill about twenty zombies in it. A quote plays when the tube on the workbench is charged.
  5. The third tube. In the Excavation Room of the Main Hut, a Tesla coil is linked to a generator holding a tube. Stand by the coil when Zaballa attacks, so her mines charge it; it takes three of them. Zaballa usually appears from round 15. Then take the charged tube.
  6. The build. Bring everything to the workbench of the Storage Hut and build the Wunderwaffe DG-2.

The Tesla coil

Against a wall of the Excavation Room, it glows purple once Zaballa has charged it.

The weapon is needed for the main quest: its bolts are the only way to charge the monolith and the Relic Mirror. None of these parts is in the Storage Vault, so the build is out of reach in a First Room game.
