Three golden weapons

On The Shadowed Throne, three melee weapons pulse with Geistkraft. Each one is a stronger version of a melee weapon of the map, and together they open Barbarossa’s Refuge in the main quest. Their notebook names are the Smuggler’s Bat, the Dancer’s Dagger and the Nazi Axe.

Nachtmahr

Smuggler’s Bat

A worn golden baseball bat with three black bands, four Iron Crosses and spikes. It swings like the baseball bat, harder, and its ranged swing throws a ball of Geistkraft.

  1. The frequency: open the cash register of the Smuggler’s workshop with the beam of the Wunderbuss and read the frequency on the photograph inside, then tune the radio of Main Street to it. The Smuggler answers from the tunnels.
  2. The weapon: open the gas maintenance cover behind the Cabaret. Give him a weapon from a weapon locker of the right class: the casings on the workbench of the Wunderbuss tell which one, small calibre for a submachine gun or a pistol, large calibre for a rifle or a machine gun, shells for a shotgun.
  3. The Jolts: two rounds later, open the cover in front of the Cabaret and drop Jolts into it until the Smuggler can open his way.
  4. The door: knock on the door of his workshop with a melee attack. A Wüstling waits behind it, and the bat with it.

An upgraded weapon given to the Smuggler changes the end: he kills the Wüstling, leaves the bat in its head and escapes. With a standard weapon, the Wüstling kills him, and the bat is in his hands.

Perchta

Dancer’s Dagger

A golden knife with an eagle hilt. It strikes like the Trench Knife, harder, and a kill with its heavy attack gives back health, or a point of Geistschild when health is full.

  1. The painting: take the painting of a dancer from a wall of the Apartments, near the safe, and place it in front of the projector at the back of the Cabaret stage.
  2. The projector: switch it on with the beam of the Wunderbuss. It shows a map of the area.
  3. The reel: shoot down the reel above the projector and load it. A green dot appears on the map.
  4. The dolls: the dot marks a clown doll. Kill between one and nine zombies next to it and count them: that number is a digit of the safe. Back at the projector the dot has moved; do it four times.
  5. The safe: dial the four digits on the safe of the Apartments, turning clockwise first, then changing direction. The Perchta is inside, driven into a skull.

The digits only change when the game restarts, so a wrong count can be done again.

Holda

The Holda, a golden axe, in its stone recess, The Shadowed Throne, Call of Duty WWII Zombies

Nazi Axe

A golden axe with the emblem of the Ahnenerbe. It strikes like the Ice Pick, and its charge attack runs faster and explodes when it kills, staggering the zombies around.

  1. The frequencies: find radio frequencies etched at one of six places: in the broken elevator of the Apartments, above the door from the Apartments to Main Street, under the M1 Garand of the Museum, on a pillar next to the Mystery Box of the Museum, on a dresser or on a box backstage in the Cabaret.
  2. The morse code: enter them on the radio of Main Street. It answers in morse with two numbers between 1 and 25.
  3. The magnifying glass: take it from a seat of the Cabaret, next to the M1928.
  4. The plate: on the map of the Church, the first number is the column and the second the row. Hover over that square with the glass, and a cabinet opens on a small golden plate.
  5. The scales: put the plate on the scales of the Museum, near Faustblitz. To balance them, kill a Gekocht with a melee attack next to a Geistschild machine, buy Geistschild to take its head, and set the head on the scales.
  6. The rabbit: the stuffed rabbit next to the scales becomes a conduit. Fill it with kills, and the drawer of the table opens on the Holda.

In the First Room

The quests of the three weapons run through the Apartments, Main Street, the Cabaret, the Museum and the Church, and all of them need the Wunderbuss. The only piece in the Underbelly is the clown doll next to the Sawed-off Shotgun, and it only counts once the projector of the Cabaret has been switched on.
