El Thurston Observatory era un planetario de Liberty Falls arrancado de principios del siglo XX y llevado al Dark Aether en los años veinte. Ahora se alza sobre un asteroide con forma de calavera que vaga entre los anillos de Saturno, con su astrónomo Silas Thurston y la secta que dirigía. El equipo de ocho viene a buscar a otra Shadowsmith, Caltheris. Tienen que enfrentarse a O.S.C.A.R., un robot guardián que el Warden construyó a partir de un personaje de película de serie B, y llegar a Marte a través de un teletransportador.

La partida empieza en el Crash Site, en la superficie del asteroide donde Ol' Tessie ha abierto un cráter en el suelo, al pie de los escalones que suben al observatorio. La Jäger 45 cuelga allí por 500 puntos. Los enemigos son zombis, Armored y Heavy Zombies, Ravagers y O.S.C.A.R., un robot que recorre el mapa una vez que el Pack-a-Punch está activo.
