The Magic Wheel

The Magic Wheel replaces the Mystery Box: 950 points a spin, on one of seven spots, each lit by a beam into the sky. When it lands on the plush doll of a spaceman, the points are refunded and the wheel moves to another spot. During a Fire Sale, every spot is active and a spin costs 10 points for 30 seconds.

Modular Atomic Disintegrator

The Modular Atomic Disintegrator, or M.A.D., is the wonder weapon of the map. It only comes from the Magic Wheel, with a magazine of 30 rounds and no reserve, and it fires atomic blasts. Three parts make it complete. They are free and always in the same places, behind panels that only the Crowbar opens; the Crowbar lies in a small room of the motel, behind Bombstoppers.

The Crank

In the control panel just outside the TV studio, on the wall near the Pack-a-Punch portal. It adds a charged shot, made by holding the aim button, which uses five rounds and can kill a Crog Brute in one hit.

The Grip

In the trailer park, next to the entrance of the men’s restroom, beside a shopping cart. It cuts the recoil, adds range and turns the M.A.D. from semi-automatic to fully automatic.

The Plunger

In the panel behind the gas station, beside a portrait of Willard Wyler. With it, the M.A.D. refills its ammo from the radioactive eggs around the map; each egg then needs five rounds to recharge.

Completing the M.A.D. for the first time unlocks the achievement MAD Proto. A Max Ammo fills its magazine without using the eggs.

Melee weapons

Cleaver

Stuck in a dead shark in the Beachside Market; the player only has to pick it up. It kills in one hit until round 8, and it fills the vial of Elvira that opens the Pack-a-Punch and the Alien Fuses.

Crowbar

In a small room of the motel, behind Bombstoppers. It replaces the standard melee and also kills in one hit until round 8. It opens the panels of the M.A.D. and the shelf of the Alien Fuses, and the main quest needs it many times.

Buildables

Seismic Wave Generator

Built on the workbench of the Diner, where two of its parts lie; a third is next to the portable toilets of the playground. Once placed, it sends shockwaves that stun and kill the zombies and Crogs around it.

Hypnosis device

Built on the crafting bench of the Beachside Market. It draws the zombies, then explodes after a set time, like the Boom Box.

Mind Control device

Built at the motel. For a short time it turns several zombies friendly: they ignore the players and attack the other zombies.

Violet Ray device

Built at the power station.

Grenades and equipment

Besides the grenades of the start, the map has the Gas Grenade, the Cluster Grenade, the C4 and the Bio Spike.
