The song

Samantha’s Sorrow is the musical Easter egg added to Verrückt by Zombies Chronicles, a song by Brian Tuey. The same hide and seek game, with dolls of Samantha, exists on several maps of the pack, each with its own trigger. On Verrückt it starts in the bathroom with the three toilets, upstairs on the German side, the room where Lullaby for a Dead Man is played.

Steps

  1. In the bathroom, flush the rightmost toilet nine times.
  2. Flush the middle toilet three times.
  3. Flush the leftmost toilet five times. With the last flush, a thunderclap is heard: 9, 3 and 5, a reference to Group 935.
  4. A doll of Samantha appears on the ground in front of the Der Wunderfizz machine, in the next room. Interact with it: more dolls start to appear around the map.
  5. Each doll spins like a ballerina and plays a music box tune, which helps to find it. Shoot it; the next one appears, until a second thunderclap.
  6. Go back to the doll by the Der Wunderfizz and interact with it. A skeletal hand drags it into the ground, a Max Ammo drops and the song starts.

The three toilets stand side by side against the tiled wall. Counting from the right, the order is nine, three, five.

Lullaby for a Dead Man

The song of the original is still there: flushing the leftmost toilet three times plays Lullaby for a Dead Man, by Kevin Sherwood and Elena Siegman. On Black Ops III, as on Black Ops, a radio on a desk, seen from a window of the balcony on the American side, also plays music from the campaign when it is shot.

In the First Room

Doors closed, neither song can be played: the bathroom is upstairs on the German side, past the left balcony, and the Der Wunderfizz stands next to it, far from both starting rooms.
