The First Room

On ZFRR, the First Room of Shangri-La on Black Ops III is the same as on Black Ops: the starting area in front of the temple, the stone courtyard at the foot of the stairs that lead up to the Pack-a-Punch. The Ultimis crew appears there at the start of every game, with 500 points, a 1911, the knife and frag grenades.
Two piles of debris close the courtyard: one towards the waterfall and the Mud-Pit Maze, the other towards the tunnels and the Mine Cart. Both lead on to the power room. In a First Room game they stay closed, so the power is never turned on. The zombies climb in through the barriers around the courtyard.

RK5
500 points, a three-round burst pistol, on the wall where the Olympia hung in Black Ops, near the debris towards the Mud-Pit Maze.

Sheiva
500 points, a semi-automatic rifle, on the wall where the M14 hung in Black Ops, near the debris towards the Mine Cart.
Those are the only two wall buys of the courtyard. In Black Ops, the same two walls sold the M14 and the Olympia.

The Pack-a-Punch plate
One of the four stone plates that raise the Pack-a-Punch stairs lies in front of Quick Revive. Without the power it does nothing, so the stairs never rise in a First Room game.

The monkeys
Zombie Monkeys sit on the walls of the temple stairs and run for every power-up that drops. A monkey that steals a Max Ammo shows a Random Perk Bottle in its cycle for a split second: shot at that instant, it drops it. On Black Ops III the cycle also holds the Death Machine.
Quick Revive in the courtyard
It always stands in the starting area: 1500 points, or 500 in solo, the only perk machine of the First Room. Every other machine is behind the debris and needs the power.
Special zombies
A Shrieker can appear from round 4, and the Napalm Zombie also reaches the courtyard. Its blast hurts any player standing close to it.
No Mystery Box
The Box starts either in the cave or at the waterfall, both behind the debris.
GobbleGums
Zombies Chronicles added GobbleGum machines to the map; one guide places one of them in the starting area. The reference board of this map allows no gum at all.
The eclipse buttons
Four buttons on the walls around Quick Revive start the Easter egg, once the power is on. Doors closed, they stay dead.
The Shangri-La (Black Ops III) leaderboard keeps it apart from the Black Ops board, and splits it into three categories, each with its boards for solo and for two, three and four players: No GobbleGums, the reference, Classic GobbleGums and Mega GobbleGums. The rules of the No GobbleGums board:
Doors closed
Reach the highest round you can without opening any door.
No GobbleGums
Neither Classic nor Mega GobbleGums are allowed.
Crawl Space in co-op
Crawl Space is allowed in co-op games, for sleeper purposes.
Full rounds
Every round must be played in full, and glitches and exploits are not allowed.
Video
The whole game must be recorded, and each player shows their gum loadout before, during or after the game. In co-op, a player who does not show the lobby before or after the game needs their own point of view.
Where to post it
A Twitch video must be saved as a highlight, since past broadcasts are not accepted; a YouTube video must be public or unlisted.
The two other categories keep the same rules, with their own line on the gums:
Classic GobbleGums
Only Classic GobbleGums may be used. Crawl Space is allowed in co-op for sleeper purposes.
Mega GobbleGums
At least one Mega GobbleGum must be used. Flavor Hexed, Self Medication, Near Death Experience, Power Vacuum and Round Robbin are not allowed.
