Starting loadout

In Black Ops 4, the players choose what they start with in the Zombies class editor, and IX follows the loadout. The starting weapon is the Welling revolver by default, or one of the other weapons the class allows, such as the Strife, the RK 7 Garrison, the Saug 9mm, the Essex Model 07 or the MOG 12. The class also sets the equipment, the four perks, the elixirs, the talisman and the special weapon.

Equipment

Frag Grenade, Acid Bomb, Claymore, Wraith Fire or Sentry, chosen in the class.

Special weapons

The Chakrams of Vengeance, the Hammer of Valhalla, the Scepter of Ra or the Viper and Dragon. The meter fills with kills, and a Full Power power-up fills it at once.

Wall buys

Nineteen weapons are sold on the walls of IX. Only the first two are in the Arena, where the game starts.

In the Arena, the chalk outline of the Essex Model 07 is drawn on the side of a stone pedestal, near the Danu door.

Mystery Box

A spin of the Mystery Box costs 950 points. On IX, the empty spots of the Box are stone platforms, without a teddy bear, and none of them is in the Arena. Its weapons:

Wonder weapons

Death of Orion

A living scorpion turned into a lightning gun. Its charged shot holds an enemy in the air and shocks the others around it. From the Box, or for sure at the end of a quest. Pack-a-Punched, it becomes Serket’s Kiss.

Homunculus

A small club-wielding creature, from the Box. Thrown, it jumps from zombie to zombie and kills them for about twenty seconds. It distracts the heavy enemies without harming them.

The Death of Orion and its quest

Buildables

Brazen Bull

The shield of IX, with a katar that strikes and catches fire, and a bull that fires flaming bolts. Its three parts are in the Ra, Zeus and Odin towers, and it is built in The Pit.

Acid Trap

Built from a chain and a cog found in the Temple and a cauldron given by the third challenge of a banner. It can be set between the Arena and the Danu and Ra towers, and on the stairs of the Zeus and Odin towers. It costs 1000 points to turn on, and its acid downs zombies and players alike.

The Brazen Bull and the Iron Bull

Challenge rewards

The banners of the Arena give weapons as well: a Pack-a-Punched Strife for the third challenge, a random weapon for the sixth and a Pack-a-Punched Hades, a light machine gun, for the ninth.
