Easter Egg

The Telescope quest

1. All players shoot the rod above the Mausoleum at the same time with Silver Bullets. A light shines towards the crystal above the head of the Atlas statue of the Main Hall, and the rod disappears.
2. On the North Atrium Bridge, turn the three wheels of a panel to line up the rings above Atlas’s head: the middle wheel until the green light is in place, the left one for the blue light, the right one for the red light, and repeat in that order. The beam destroys the head of the statue and reaches the telescope of the Greenhouse Laboratory.
3. Find three glowing zodiac symbols around the map, in rooms among the Billiards Room, the Entrance Hall, the Trophy Room, the Main Hall, the Library, the Wine Cellar and the Dining Room. Count the scratch marks in each of the three rooms; a mark can be missing.
4. At the telescope of the Greenhouse Laboratory, enter the three symbols on the rotating panel from the fewest scratches to the most, and knife the panel to confirm. A wrong code resets the symbols and the scratches.
5. With the shield out, hold the crank of the dome to open the roof, then hit the crank with the shield to lock it.
6. Turn on the electric trap of the laboratory and have every player run through it with the shield out, then bash the telescope together. A beam reveals the full moon, and a stone slab appears under the telescope.

The Knight quest

1. Place a Fire Core in a fire trap, the Library one being the easiest, turn it on and shoot the flames with a charged fireball of Alistair’s Annihilator. The fire turns blue.
2. Run through the blue flames with the shield out, then bash four fireplaces in order before the flame dies. The last one gives a crystal. Do it three times: the Smoking Room, the Library right of the trap, the Library left of the trap and the Billiards Room; then the Main Hall left, the East Gallery, the Main Hall right and the West Gallery; then the Trophy Room, the Master Bedroom, the Music Room and the Dining Room.
3. Use the three suits of armour of the manor, in the Main Hall, on the Greenhouse Terrace and in the Cemetery. Each takes a crystal, which then follows the player.
4. Lead each crystal to its coloured symbol on the ground of the Forest. With the three in place, three ghost knights appear.
5. Kill zombies around each knight to move it towards the Pack-a-Punch. When the three form a triangle there, kill a Werewolf inside it: a stone slab appears.

The Effigy quest

1. In the Cemetery, some white birch trees drop leaves. Shoot down one branch from each with Alistair’s Annihilator and collect five branches.
2. One player per game can use the gravestone dated 1912 and enter a spirit form.
3. Light the ground in front of the effigy with a charged fireball. The player in spirit form uses the burning effigy and falls through a red corridor into an afterlife state, invisible to the other players but not to the enemies.
4. That player finds the ghost of a woman in the mansion, often near perk altars and barriers, and escorts her to the effigy until she bursts into a column of flames. A stone slab appears.

Step 2: the boss

With the three slabs, the players use the stone door of the Forest and enter the Ruins, a square arena where the Shadow Werewolf waits. A Max Ammo and a Carpenter lie in two corners of the arena; new ones appear in the next phases only if the first ones were taken.

Phase 1

A green square glows on the ground. Turn the statues around the arena so that their beams, white when wrong, turn green on the square, then stand in it to lure the invisible Werewolf. Trapped, it becomes visible and vulnerable.

Phase 2

A long wave of zombies, Catalysts, Nosferatu, Crimson Nosferatu and Werewolves, to survive until the boss jumps back into the arena.

Phase 3

The same trap as in phase 1, but the green square is hidden until a statue finds it. Trap the boss again until it dies.

The ending

The ending

The four survivors gather in the Smoking Room. A vision of the Odin Sentinel Artifact appears, and Godfrey, under the control of The Order again, kills Christina, Gideon and Warwick before Scarlett Rhodes shoots him. She chases the car carrying her father and keeps a letter that names Diego Necalli, Bruno Delacroix and Stanton Shaw.

The reward

The achievement Trial by Ordeal, 30 Gamerscore or a silver trophy.
