Classified: Easter egg

No main quest

Unlike the other maps of Black Ops 4, Classified has no main Easter egg quest. Its ending cutscene plays on its own once the players complete round 150. The one quest of the map is Cold War Remedy: the Ultimis crew tracks down Project Skadi, the prototype of the Winter’s Howl, and takes it for free. It gives the achievement of the same name.

The quest needs the power, DEFCON 5 and the Pack-a-Punch at Groom Lake. It is built around four aerial photographs of earlier maps of the Ultimis crew, Shi No Numa, Der Riese, Kino der Toten and Shangri-La, each with a four-digit number printed on it.

Der Riese

Locked in a desk in the middle of the Main Offices. The key hangs on hook five of a key box in the War Room, across from the Cola perk machine. Open the drawer with it.

Kino der Toten

Behind a monitor of the Panic Room. Flip the DEFCON switches in a set order, then teleport to the Panic Room and use the one monitor that shows only static, on the left wall: it slides back and reveals the photograph.

Shi No Numa

In the Deserted Hallway, between the door of the Conference Room and the elevator to the War Room, hang portraits of presidents with golden nameplates. Shoot the nameplates of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton and Abraham Lincoln with a Pack-a-Punched weapon. The Washington plate lifts and reveals the photograph in a hidden compartment.

Shangri-La

In the South Laboratories, outside the window closest to the Weapon Testing door and the Koshka. Throw a Frag Grenade or an Acid Bomb at the light fixture nearest to the wiring box; when the blast hits the box, the photograph appears on the wall beside the window.

Reactivating Project Skadi

In the lower level of the War Room, a machine with a large monitor of aerial photographs has a split-flap display of four digits and a red button.

Shoot the flaps to set the number of the Shi No Numa photograph, then press the button.
Do the same with Der Riese, then Shangri-La, then Kino der Toten, in that order.
If every number is right, the button sparks and stops working. After a short delay, the monitor turns to static and reads « PROJECT SKADI RETRIEVED », and an announcement plays in the Pentagon.

Project Skadi

Back at Groom Lake, a metal briefcase marked « PROJECT SKADI » waits in the second area, the one that opens after the players have survived there for three rounds. Open it and take the Winter’s Howl.

The reward

Only one player can take the weapon from the briefcase, and that player earns Cold War Remedy, a silver trophy worth 30 Gamerscore.

In the First Room

Doors closed, the quest cannot be started: every step needs the power, the War Room or the Pack-a-Punch.
