The Sentinel Artifact

On Dead of the Night, the Sentinel Artifact takes the place of the power. It floats on a broken pillar of the Grand Staircase, in sight of the spawn, and both halves of the team reach it in two doors:

From the East Gallery: the 750-point door to the East Balcony, then the 1000-point door of the Music Room.
From the West Gallery: the 750-point door of the Tea Room to the West Balcony, then the 1000-point door of the Smoking Room.

Each 750-point door opens its twin on the other side. Once the Artifact is activated, every red barrier of the map falls: the full North Atrium Bridge, the staircases of the two galleries, the Bedroom Hallway and the Billiards Room. The door behind the Artifact opens the Entrance Hall, with the Danu altar and the portal that will later lead to the Forest.

The Danu Artifact

The relic The Order activates in the intro. Its trial turns the guests into zombies and only ends with the Easter egg.

The three challenge stones

Three glowing stones are hidden in vases with coloured smoke. A vase is shot open to see if the stone is inside; the stone then takes the souls of a few zombies killed near it before the players can gaze into it.

Purple stone

In the Bedroom Hallway, on a small table in front of a green sofa, in the Master Bedroom, on the trunk at the foot of the bed, or in the Trophy Room, on a small round table.

Green stone

In the Study, on a table between two armchairs, or in the Library, on the large table by the wooden pillar or on a cabinet next to some statues.

Blue stone

In the Wine Cellar, on a small crate with a candle by the large barrels, or on the table in the middle of the room.

Each stone shows one of three challenges. Each challenge ends with a Tuning Fork.

The challenges

The perk challenge

The stone shows a Perk Altar. Near that altar the screen turns monochrome and Nosferatu attack; the last one drops the fork.

The clock challenge

The stone shows a grandfather clock, in the Main Hall, the Dining Room or the Billiards Room. Using it draws a circle on the floor that counts down while a player stands in it, under faster zombies. The fork comes out of the clock.

The ghost challenge

The stone shows an object, which wakes a ghost when used. She leads the players across the map, often to the Cemetery, and gives the fork at the end.

The objects of the ghost challenge:

a noose over the back of a tall chair in the Wine Cellar;
the painting of a scared girl in the East Gallery;
the painting of an old man and a girl in the Smoking Room;
the painting of a woman in the Music Room;
a doll on a table of the Entrance Hall, to the left of the Danu altar;
a last will in a lockbox on a bookshelf of the Study.

The Forest and the Pack-a-Punch

With the three forks, the players go to the Forest Terrace, past a 1000-point door of the Main Hall. The black and orange barrier at the entrance of the Forest disappears when the forks are used on it, and a howl announces a first Werewolf.

The first Werewolf

It always spawns when the Forest opens. Killed with Silver Bullets, it drops the Werewolf Chaos Material needed for the Chaos Theory.

The Pack-a-Punch Machine

Where the three paths of the Forest meet, at the far end. An upgrade costs 5000 points.

The Forest

A Mystery Box spot on the middle path, the Titan for 3750 and the Koshka for 4500 on the side paths, and a portal back to the North Atrium next to the machine.

Opening the Forest by round 7 unlocks the achievement Quick Thinking.

In the First Room

Doors closed, none of this can be reached: the Artifact stays on its pillar, the red barriers stay up and the team never meets on the bridge. The Pack-a-Punch is out of reach for the whole game.
