Songs

Remember Us

The song of the map, started by three headphones in the colours of Mister Peeks: on the floor by a corpse near the cryo chamber of an Elder Disciple in the Mutant Research Lab, on a seated corpse in the lower part of the Dark Entity Containment, and in a cabinet behind the desk of the Director’s Office.

Samantha’s Peace

Once the Pack-a-Punch is on, run through the metal detectors of the Reception in a set order. Seen from the spawn: left, right, middle, four times over.

Samantha’s Soul

A remix by Leo Sartwell. Shoot the pool balls 1, 1 and 5 on a wall of the Director’s Office: the song plays and a Self-Revive kit appears on the pool table.

Free perks and power-ups

The Mister Peeks hoops

From the Executive Suite, shoot the Mister Peeks doll above the Mutant Research Lab. It floats to a railing and, once touched, leaves a trail of blue hoops down through the floors. Glide through all of them with the parachute: a free Random Perk waits at the bottom of the Reception.

The Sublevel 10 counter

During the Vermin step of the main quest, a counter above the red button of Sublevel 10 keeps the score. Above 2000, a Random Perk appears in the control room.

The golden trash can

Trash cans stand around Tower 1, two of them in the Reception and the others in the Executive Suite and the Director’s Office, and four of them spit out loot, from Salvage to a perk. Once those four are found, a golden trash can at the spawn gives 1500 Essence, 200 Salvage, a scorestreak, a Self-Revive kit, a lethal, a tactical and a document.

Target practice

With the Pack-a-Punch on, stand on the Janus logo in front of the steps of the reception desk and shoot the logo on the TV. Janus logos with a red outline appear around the room: shoot them all in time for an Ammo Mod, then an Aether Tool, then an Aetherium crystal.

Miniature power-ups

Tiny power-ups are hidden around the towers: Bonus Points, Max Ammo, Double Points, Full Power, Insta-Kill, Max Armor on the turret of an armored vehicle outside the Reception, Nuke, and last a Fire Sale in the fire behind a window of the Reception, by Quick Revive.

The Aether Blade

  1. Bring back three missing paintings to their spots on the wall of the Director’s Office, one at a time: behind a door of the Reception, behind a wet floor sign of the Android Assembly, and by the broken elevator of Sublevel 10.
  2. Drive an ARC-XD under the cage of the Forsaken in the Dark Entity Containment and blow up the crystal behind it, then every crystal that follows, until a small safe key appears.
  3. Use a Mister Peeks Field Upgrade on the painting behind the desk of the Director’s Office: it falls and shows a safe. Opening it starts a lockdown with an Elder Disciple.
  4. Survive until the screen flashes white. The safe holds the Aether Blade and two pieces of intel.

Other secrets

Aetherella

With the Pack-a-Punch and the Gorgofex, spray the first stall of the broken washroom by the Rampage Inducer with an emote, hit the Aetherella figure inside with a charged shot, and lead it into the laser of Sublevel 10. It then follows the player and fires lasers from its eyes for a few rounds.

The chicken bucket

Throw a lethal at the Freedom Fried Chicken bucket on a shelf of the Executive Suite bar, pick up the six wings around the room, and wear the bucket as a helmet for the rest of the game.

The basketball

In Sublevel 10, shoot down the ball stuck in the ceiling while the low gravity is on, then kick it into the zombie spawn by the GobbleGum Machine and shoot it there: an Aetherium crystal upgrade.
