Mystery Box

The Box moves between several spots of the map, one of them in the Temple. It holds the weapons of Vanguard, from rifles and submachine guns to launchers, the Combat Shield and the FS Fighting Knife, and two Wonder Weapons, the Ray Gun and the Wunderwaffe DG-2.

Wonder Weapons

The Decimator Shield, its flesh covered in eyes, pickup render, The Archon, Call of Duty Vanguard Zombies

Decimator Shield

The cursed shield of the Decimator, a commander of the Night Legions of Kortifex trapped in it as a punishment. It is held like a shield, reduces the damage taken from the front, kills any enemy in one melee hit and fires the Decimator Blast, which kills zombies, Sturmkriegers and even Zaballa and passes through walls and floors.

Wunderwaffe DG-2

Built by the team on Shi No Numa and brought to Egypt for the final battle. It comes from the Mystery Box, and a DG-2 is also part of the loot of the main quest. Pack-a-Punched, it becomes the Wunderwaffe DG-3.

Ray Gun

From the Mystery Box, or for free once the three parts of Mister Peeks are dug up.

The Decimator Shield

It only becomes available during the main quest, after the first trip to the Dark Aether:

  1. In the Debris Field, shoot the glowing Dark Aether crystals until a red orb comes out.
  2. Bring back the Cursed Officer’s Hat from the Tents, the Cursed Skull from the upper floor of the Bazaar and the Cursed Femur, dug up with a shovel in the Derailment.
  3. The shield is freed next to the orb and can be picked up.

With Season Five, the cooldown of the Decimator Blast went from 90 to 60 seconds and the remaining timer was halved, so the blast comes back every 30 seconds; its damage against Sturmkriegers and Zaballa was raised. The shield cannot be Pack-a-Punched.

In the First Room

Doors closed, the SVT-40 and the Mystery Box are the only weapons in reach. The Decimator Shield is out of reach, since its quest needs the Pack-a-Punch, and so is the Ray Gun of Mister Peeks, whose parts are dug up outside the Temple.
