Starting loadout

Every game of Verrückt starts with an M1911, the knife and two Stielhandgranates, the German stick grenades. The two starting rooms, the First Rooms of the map, sell five things between them: the Kar98k on both sides, the Gewehr 43 and grenades on the Juggernog side, the M1 Garand on the Quick Revive side.

Two wings, two arsenals

The asylum was built around a pattern: German weapons on the left wing, the Juggernog side, and American weapons on the right wing, the Quick Revive side, each facing its counterpart of the same type. In World at War the pairs were the Kar98k and the Springfield, the Gewehr 43 and the M1 Garand, the MP40 and the Thompson, the STG-44 and the BAR. The Black Ops version breaks the first pair: the Springfield is gone, and a Kar98k hangs on both sides.

Wall buys

Ammunition for a wall weapon costs half its price. Bouncing Betties are bought once; the player then gets two more at the start of every round.

The sawed-off shotgun is the Double-Barreled Shotgun with its barrel cut and a grip. In World at War, the PPSh-41 that Verrückt introduced was a Box weapon only.

Mystery Box

950 points a spin, starting in the Power Room. In the Black Ops version the Box brings the weapons of the 1960s: the Python, the CZ75 with or without a second one, the Spectre, the FAMAS, the Galil, the AUG with its scope, the FN FAL, the Commando, the G11, the SPAS-12, the HS-10, the HK21, the RPK, the L96A1, the Dragunov, the M72 LAW, the China Lake, the Ballistic Knife and the Crossbow.

Special weapons

The Monkey Bomb held in first person, a cymbal monkey in a fez, Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies

Monkey Bomb

A cymbal monkey that draws the zombies before it explodes, added to the Box by the Black Ops version.

Ray Gun

The wonder weapon of the first maps, from the Box, in both versions.

Winter’s Howl

The freezing pistol of “Five”, added to the Box by the Black Ops version.

There is no Pack-a-Punch on Verrückt: no weapon of the map can be upgraded.
