Verrückt key art of the Rezurrection map pack for Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies

Verrückt:
The two First Rooms

The two First Rooms of Verrückt in Black Ops side by side: the Juggernog side and the Quick Revive side, windows, exits, wall buys and perks, the electric door, how the game picks your side, and the five ZFRR boards with B2's rules, Double Side and Reversed.

Two starting rooms

Verrückt starts its players in one of two rooms on the ground floor of the asylum, separated by an electric door. The door opens with the power, and the power switch is at the other end of the building. A First Room game never gets there, so each starting room is played as a First Room of its own: the Juggernog side and the Quick Revive side.

Both rooms start the same way: an M1911, the knife, two Stielhandgranates and 500 points. No power-up is out of reach: Max Ammo, Insta-Kill, Double Points, Nuke and Carpenter all drop in the starting rooms like anywhere else.

The Juggernog side

Zombies crossing the Juggernog side starting room, its bookshelves, window and Gewehr 43 chalk outline in Verrückt, Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies

The German wing. Its starting room holds an old operating room with a dentist chair, and a smaller room with the Gewehr 43 and the Juggernog machine, next to a bookshelf. Juggernog stays dark for the whole game: without power it cannot be bought, so a Juggernog side game is played with no perk at all, solo or co-op.

Four windows

The most of the two rooms, spread around the walls.

One way out

Up to the left balcony, 1000 points, closed in a First Room game. The other exit is the electric door.

Three wall buys

The Kar98k for 200, the Gewehr 43 for 600 and four Stielhandgranates for 250. It is the only starting room that refills grenades.

A dead Box spot

One Mystery Box location is next to Juggernog, but the Box starts in the Power Room, out of reach, and never gets used.

The Quick Revive side

The Quick Revive machine lit in the Quick Revive side starting room, its perk icon in the HUD in Verrückt, Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies

The American wing. Fewer windows, two closed doors, and the one perk a First Room player can drink on Verrückt.

Three windows

One fewer than the Juggernog side.

Two doors

One to a dead-end back room with the BAR, one to the right hallway and the stairs to the balcony, 750 points each. Both stay closed.

Two wall buys

The Kar98k for 200, where World at War had a Springfield, and the M1 Garand for 600. No grenades on these walls.

Quick Revive

Near the right hallway door. In solo, Black Ops sells it for 500 points with the power off, and it brings the player back up after a down. With two players it costs 1500 and needs the power, so the 2P board plays without it.

The electric door

The door between the two rooms is bulletproof, but it is not a blank wall. It has a window that grenades go through, and a spot where a player can revive a teammate downed on the other side. “Power will reunite you” is chalked on it. On the Full map, Double side and Reversed boards, where both rooms are held at once, the door is the only link between the two halves of the team.

Which side you get

Solo

The player starts on one side or the other, at random. Players restart until they get the room they want to play.

Two players

Both start together, on a random side. The Black Ops version does not split a pair, which is why Double side needs a trick.

Three players

The team is split, and the lone player can land on either side.

Four players

Two in each room.

The five boards

The Verrückt leaderboard keeps every category on one page.

Jugg side

Solo and 2P, played in the Juggernog side room. Official, ranked.

QR side

Solo and 2P, played in the Quick Revive side room. Official, ranked.

Full map

3P and 4P, the team split over both rooms by the game, every door shut.

Double side

2P, one player in each room. Voted in as a new category by the First Room community in October 2020. Unofficial on ZFRR: no difficulty coefficient, no ranking points.

Reversed

3P, two players on the Quick Revive side and the third alone on the Juggernog side. Unofficial on ZFRR, and a Reversed game can also be sent to the regular board.

To get a Double side game, B2 gives the method: load the game with three players, so that the game splits the team, and the third player, the blue one, leaves before round 1 begins.

B2 rules

ZFRR follows the First Room rules of B2. On top of the rules for every Black Ops First Room, each Verrückt category has one line of its own.

Jug Side

The players must play on the side with the Jugger-Nog machine. Solo and 2P.

Quick Side

The players must play on the side with the Quick Revive machine. Solo and 2P.

Double Side

The players must play on both sides, one side each. 2P.

Doors closed

Opening doors is not allowed, nor are out-of-bounds glitches.

Forbidden exploits

Fast ray, rapid fire and abusing the fast grenade glitch. Fast knifing is allowed.

Settings

Fixed backspeed is allowed in solo only, and so is disabling Mule Kick. Removing the fog is not allowed, and the field of view may be changed.

Co-op

The host’s point of view is required, and Plutonium’s disconnecting, reconnecting and pausing are allowed.

Platforms

Steam, BGamer and Plutonium on PC, under conditions (hidden files shown and the game launched from its executable on Steam and BGamer, the anticheat text left visible on Plutonium), and every console except the Wii.
