Area 51, the No Man's Land start of Moon in Black Ops Zombies: no rounds, zombies that grow stronger over time, Juggernog or Speed Cola, the only Pack-a-Punch of the map, the teleporter to the Receiving Bay and how First Room players use it before round 1.
A game of Moon does not start on the Moon. The crew appear in Area 51, in the Nevada desert, in the hangar area the players call No Man’s Land, around the teleporter Group 935 uses to reach Griffin Station. The area is part of the Hangar 18 multiplayer map. A First Room game crosses it once, at the very start, before the round counter even begins.

No rounds, only time
Time instead of rounds
The zombies come out of the ground and the sides without a break. They start with round one health and speed, and grow stronger each time an alarm sounds, like the one of a Tactical Nuke.
The buzzer
A first sound tells the players that the teleporter is ready to take them to the Moon.
Hellhounds
They only run in Area 51, mixed with the zombies.
No power-ups
Nothing drops in Area 51, so every point comes from kills.
The survival time
When the players leave, the game shows how long they lasted in No Man’s Land, then the first round starts on the Moon.
The power is always on in Area 51, so its two machines work from the first second:
Juggernog or Speed Cola
One machine by the teleporter, drawn at random at the start of the game. It switches to the other each time the players come back to Area 51. Juggernog costs 2500 points, Speed Cola 3000.
Pack-a-Punch
5000 points, inside a cage with an “OBEY” sign, on the other side of the area from the teleporter. It is the only Pack-a-Punch of the map.
Because the round counter has not started, points earned here are a head start for the whole game. The round 44 solo record on the Moon leaderboard shows the usual plan: kill with the pistol until 5000 points, upgrade the M1911 into Mustang & Sally, keep killing until Juggernog is affordable, then step onto the teleporter. B2 voters rejected a proposal on Juggernog in No Man’s Land in 2020, 42 votes to 5.

The teleporter
The teleporter is free. In Area 51 it fires either when every living player stands on it, or when one player reaches it and the alarm timer runs out. It lands in the Receiving Bay, the First Room, with a P.E.S. locker in front of the players. The way back is the teleporter outside the Laboratories, far behind the doors, so a First Room game never returns to Area 51.

Coming back
Hacking the Pack-a-Punch
The Hacker raises the gates of the cage for a while; no zombie or player gets in or out. The first hack gives 1000 points, once per game.
Teleporter on the Moon
It only fires when all living players stand on it. The time spent in Area 51 does not count as rounds.
The plates
Hexagonal plates stored on a beam to the right of the teleporter are part of Richtofen’s Grand Scheme; a grenade knocks them down and a Gersh Device sends them to the Moon.
After Big Bang Theory
Once the rockets have hit the Earth, the sky of Area 51 turns red, then shows space.
