Starting weapons

Every game of Moon starts with the M1911, the knife and two frag grenades. Pack-a-Punched in Area 51, the M1911 becomes the dual Mustang & Sally, the usual first upgrade of a First Room game.

Wall buys

Unlike the maps before it, Moon has no weapon on the walls of its starting room. The two 500-point rifles hang just outside the Receiving Bay, past the doors.

The Bowie Knife is reached by jumping from the stairs. With the Hacker, any wall weapon except the grenades can have its prices swapped for 3000 points: Pack-a-Punched ammo then costs what regular ammo cost, and regular ammo costs 4500. Once an excavator has breached Tunnel 6 or Tunnel 11, the M16 or the PM63 can no longer be bought.

Wonder weapons

The two Zap Guns held in first person in Moon, Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies

Zap Gun Dual Wield

The form the Wave Gun comes in, two pistols firing red balls of electricity that kill any zombie in one hit, at any round. Pack-a-Punched: Porter’s X2 Zap Gun Dual Wield, with 12 shots per gun.

Wave Gun

The two Zap Guns joined together. Its aimed purple beam makes the zombies in its radius cough blood, swell and burst. It does little from behind, and does not affect the Astronaut Zombie. Pack-a-Punched: Max Wave Gun.

Quantum Entanglement Device

Three per Box pull. Each throw draws an effect at random: free perks, a door opened for free, power-ups, a weapon to pick up, guns firing in a circle, a revive, or bad outcomes such as more zombies, red power-ups the zombies run for, or a lost upgrade. Near an Astronaut Zombie it always explodes and kills it.

Gersh Device

Three per Box pull. It opens a small black hole that pulls in the zombies and kills them for 50 points each; a player who jumps or dives in is teleported. The Astronaut Zombie is pulled but not killed.

Ray Gun

The Box classic. Pack-a-Punched: Porter’s X2 Ray Gun.

The QED and the Gersh Device share the tactical slot: taking one swaps out the other.

Mystery Box

The Box costs 950 points. Besides the four Moon specials above, it holds the CZ75 (single or dual), Python, Spectre, FN FAL, G11, FAMAS, AUG, Commando, Galil, HS-10, SPAS-12, Dragunov, L96A1, RPK, HK21, Ballistic Knife, China Lake and M72 LAW.

Receiving Bay

Next to Quick Revive, in the First Room. Never the first spot of the game.

Power Room

In a cramped corner next to the Stakeout and a window.

Outside

By the teleporter to Area 51, next to a rock.

Bio-Dome

Next to PhD Flopper.

The Hacker adds two tricks. After a roll, hacking the Box re-rolls it for 600 points, and hacking the new weapon turns it into a power-up anyone can take, with 950 points back. Hacking an empty spot opens the Box there for one roll at 1200 points and keeps the Box from moving there for a while.

First Room

With the doors closed, the arsenal is what the players bring from Area 51: the starting pistol, upgraded or not, the knife and the grenades. No wall weapon can be bought, and the Box spot of the room is never the first one. The Box only moves after it has been used, and in Black Ops a Fire Sale, which opens a Box at every spot, only drops once the Box has moved at least once. With the doors closed, the Box stays out of reach.
