Coming Home

A teddy bear wearing a P.E.S. helmet, one of the Coming Home bears in Moon, Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies

The main song of Moon is Coming Home, written by Kevin Sherwood and sung by Elena Siegman. Three teddy bears wearing P.E.S. helmets are hidden on the map; hold the use button on each, in any order, and the third one starts the song.

Crates bear

Outside the Receiving Bay, on a pile of red crates just below the building, near the gravity lift, in the area of the M14 and the Olympia.

Airlock bear

In the airlock between Tunnel 6 and the Power Room, behind a grate on the wall facing the P.E.S. locker.

Tunnel 11 bear

Near Stamin-Up, in a hole in the wall; its helmet sticks out.

The computer songs

Three more songs, by James McCawley, play from computer equipment. Hold the use button on it; each one is only heard close to its terminal.

Re-Damned

A remake of Kevin Sherwood’s “Damned”, from a computer in the Laboratories next to the door to the Bio-Dome.

Coming Home 8-bit

From the computers at the end of Tunnel 11, next to a radio by the door to the Power Room.

Pareidolia 8-bit

From a computer on the bottom floor of the Laboratories, in a corner to the left when coming in from the Power Room.

Nightmare

The Avenged Sevenfold song Nightmare plays when a player earns One Giant Leap. In co-op, excavators Pi and Omicron must be cutting Tunnel 6 and Tunnel 11 while a player bleeds out in the Receiving Bay, cut off from the others; when that player comes back at the next round, the achievement unlocks and the song starts.

Radios and audio reels

Five radios play Group 935 logs; the first has Richtofen and Dr. Schuster testing the matter transference prototype in December 1939. One hangs next to a boulder on the cliff outside the Receiving Bay; the others are in the outdoor area, outside a Laboratory window, in Tunnel 6 and in the Bio-Dome, several of them only reached in low gravity.

Six audio reels play in a machine on the second floor of the Laboratories, left of the stairs. Only one reel exists at a time, and a new one appears once the last has been played. Two of its spots are in the Receiving Bay, next to the quest computer and on a rack behind the Mystery Box, but the machine is far behind the doors.

Other secrets

The burnt Earth

After Big Bang Theory, the sky of Area 51 turns red, then shows space; the Earth itself can then be seen from Area 51, probably an oversight.

The Astronaut’s names

In online games, the Astronaut Zombie carries the name of one of the host’s friends or recent players; in solo, names of famous people or Treyarch staff.

The trench

Falling into the trench outside the Receiving Bay downs a player at once. In solo with Quick Revive, the player comes back on the surface.

The loading screen

Samantha’s shadow with a teddy bear, among adverts for Zombies items: the teleporter, Mule Kick, the Thundergun, a Monkey Bomb, the Vril Generator, a director’s chair for George A. Romero.

First Room

None of the songs can be started from the Receiving Bay: the three bears, the three computers and the reel machine are all behind the doors.
