Little Lost Girl

The portal opened in the Crazy Place at the end of the main quest in Origins, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

The main quest of Origins. Samantha Maxis, trapped in Agartha, guides Primis towards freeing her. Completing it earns the Little Lost Girl achievement (75G, Silver): “In Origins, release Samantha”. The name comes from an episode of The Twilight Zone in which a girl falls through a hole into another dimension.

Before you start

G-Strike beacon, model render, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

A G-Strike

At least one player needs it for step 3; earn it early, while melee kills are still easy.

Maxis Drone, model render, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

The Maxis Drone

It must be built.

Not on Easy

The quest cannot be completed on Easy difficulty.

The four staffs

All of them must be built and upgraded; see the staffs page.

All six generators

Several steps only complete if every generator has been running at the same time.

The steps

Zombie souls, yellow orbs, flying into the portal in the Crazy Place, step 7 of the quest in Origins, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

In Zombie Blood, Samantha names each step; the names echo Reznov’s escape plan in the Black Ops mission Vorkuta.

  1. Secure the keys: build and upgrade all four elemental staffs. All six generators must then be running at the same time, at least once.
  2. Ascend from darkness: place the staffs on four new pedestals: Ull’s Arrow in Freya’s head, Boreas’ Fury in Odin’s, Kimat’s Bite in Thor’s, and Kagutsuchi’s Blood in the new pedestal in the middle of the staff room. Samantha confirms it, and the staffs return to the staff room.
  3. Rain fire: the three robots now walk together. One player enters a robot and presses the red button inside its head; at once, another throws a G-Strike on the cracked stone seal behind and to the right of Generator 5. The robots’ artillery breaks the seal. In solo, enter Odin, press the button as Maxis says “one” during the purge, then run and throw.
  4. Unleash the horde: deploy the Maxis Drone next to the broken seal. It flies into the pit, and ten Panzer Soldats fly out. Kill them all.
  5. Skewer the winged beast: under Zombie Blood, a yellow-glowing plane shows in the sky. Shoot it down; its pilot, visible only in Zombie Blood, circles the Excavation Site clockwise. Kill it to get the Maxis Drone back, upgraded.
  6. Wield a fist of iron: every player takes the One Inch Punch from a reward box, then punches about 20 white-glowing Templars inside the Excavation Site. Each player’s last one drops a glowing tablet that turns the punch into the Iron Fists.
  7. Raise hell: place the four staffs on their pillars in the Crazy Place and kill 100 Templars there. A white flash opens a portal in the ceiling. This unlocks the achievement.
  8. Freedom: deploy the Maxis Drone in the middle of the Crazy Place. It rises into the portal: “Samantha, I must go to her, the paradox must be resolved.” Hold the action button on the blue rock in the centre to end the game and watch the closing cutscene.

Pitfalls

Out-of-reach tablet

Do not punch Templars that are still climbing in through the walls; the tablet can fall where nobody can reach it, which makes the quest impossible.

The pedestal glitch

On Black Ops II only, step 2 can be faked by placing the Fire staff four times in the central pedestal and taking it back each time. It can cause visual bugs.

Generators down

If the six generators were not all running at the same time around step 5, the teleporter at the end will not work until they are.

The ending

Samantha tells how the gates of Agartha opened and the four heroes were “rewarded with riches beyond imagination”. Then the scene moves to her bedroom: Samantha and young Eddie play with figures of the heroes and of zombies, and Eddie complains that she gets everything wrong, “their eyes should be blue!”. An air-raid siren sounds, and Ludvig Maxis tells them over the speakers to put the toys away. “Tomorrow Eddie, you get to make the rules. I promise”, says Samantha, before closing the door: “My dad says he has a plan.”

The room is full of nods to earlier maps: a Mob of the Dead poster, figures of Victis under the bed, an empty Juggernog bottle, a Panzer Soldat figure, and the Vril Generator with the Focusing Stone by the door.
