Songs

Origins hides three songs. Its whole soundtrack, thirty tracks, was released on its own.

Green meteorite fragments in a corner of the starting room, the Archangel song in Origins, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

Archangel

By Kevin Sherwood, sung by Elena Siegman, Malukah and Clark S. Nova. Hold the action button on three green meteorite fragments: in a corner of the starting room, right of the reward box, on the other side of the bunk bed; under a bunk bed upstairs in the Workshop; and behind boxes on the walkways by the Excavation Site entrance. Its tempo, 230 beats a minute, is twice 115.

A red radio, one of the three radios of the Shepherd of Fire song in Origins, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

Shepherd of Fire

The Avenged Sevenfold song of the intro. Three red radios: on the scaffolding inside the Excavation Site, inside Freya’s head, and on the edge of the fire area of the Crazy Place.

A "1" floor panel at Generator 1, part of the Aether song in Origins, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

Aether

Go prone in front of both “1” floor panels at Generator 1, then the “5” at Generator 5, which must be running: 1, 1, 5.

Free rewards

Free Zombie Blood

Shoot three burning wagons around the Excavation Site with the Staff of Ice, and a Zombie Blood appears by the Pack-a-Punch scaffolding, once a round, unless it is pouring with rain.

Free Magna Collider

Deploy the Maxis Drone near four small yellow discs, on a roof by Generator 5, in a hole in the trench just outside the spawn’s door to Generator 2, on the church roof and above the Excavation Site entrance. It brings a Pack-a-Punched MG08/15 to the Pack-a-Punch.

Tank power-ups

Once the Lightning parts are collected, a power-up waits at each jump-off spot of the tank route, once per round.

Red dig spots

On Black Ops II, a Semtex thrown on a hidden dig spot reveals it without Zombie Blood, though it can still only be dug in Zombie Blood.

Points for lying down

Going prone in front of a perk machine, or the Pack-a-Punch, gives 25 points.

Radios and notes

The first coded note, one of the ciphers of Origins, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

Ciphers

Five coded notes and a scrap of paper; the first hides behind a map on the wall of the Workshop, by the workbench, and is read with a sniper scope.

Samantha in Zombie Blood

Under Zombie Blood, she speaks to each character in a demonic voice, with threats, promises and hints at the staff parts and the quest.

“Follow the steps”

A chalk message on a pillar of the Crazy Place, readable only in Zombie Blood.

Maxis’ radios

Six recordings in which Maxis describes the staffs, the portals opened by the generators, the gramophone that opened the tomb, the knights rising from the mound, the Mystery Box and the child’s voice that calls him.

The spawn note

A note in the starting room orders: “Keep the Generators running at all costs! Do NOT leave the platforms until they activate… they are coming!”

Jumpscare

Zoom in on the burning church with the standard scope of a sniper rifle, and a skull suddenly fills the screen with a high-pitched scream, as on Mob of the Dead.
