Before it was a Survival map, the depot was the starting point of TranZit. The hall where a Bus Depot game begins is the same room where every TranZit game opens, and many of its objects are still there, switched off. This page sorts out what works in each mode.

The hall in TranZit

Quick Revive

The only perk of the depot, inside the starting room.

Workbench

The Turbine is built right there, in the hall.

Power doors

A Turbine placed in front of the metal doors powers them open, which saves the 750 points of the main door. Behind them, a small room can hold one of the bus parts: the ladder, the plow or the hatch.

Turbine parts

All three are in the hall. The mannequin leans against the big route map, the fan sits on a seat across from the workbench, and the tail lies on the floor near the M14.

Outside the depot

Mystery Box

The depot spot, outside the station, is one of the Box spots of TranZit. The Box always starts the game at the Diner.

The bus

It always starts its route at the depot, waits a moment for the players, then leaves for the tunnel and the Diner. It carries the B23R, sold on board for 1000 points.

The meteorite lies near the Box spot outside, and the electric box can spawn behind the station.

Lamp post

A lamp post near the depot can be turned into a portal by a Denizen once it is lit.

Carrion

The musical Easter egg of TranZit starts at the depot. Three teddy bears have to be found and activated, and the first one sits on a bench outside the station, the one closest to the fog on the way to the Diner. The other two are in the farmhouse, upstairs on a mattress, and in the bar in Town. All three play Carrion, written by Kevin Sherwood and sung by Clark S. Nova. Since it needs the whole map, it does not exist in Bus Depot Survival.

The same place, two maps

Bus Depot is one of the three TranZit Survival maps, with Farm and Town, each one a slice of the big map. Bus Depot keeps only the Box and a few wall guns, Farm adds perks, and Town adds the Pack-a-Punch machine. More on the map on the Bus Depot page, and the records on the Bus Depot leaderboard.
