How the power, the teleporter and the Pack-a-Punch work on Kino der Toten: linking the stage teleporter to the Lobby mainframe, the 30-second projector room, the four random rooms with their power-ups and film reels, and where every perk stands.
Nothing in this page works in a First Room game: everything starts with the power switch, backstage next to the M16, at least 4250 points of doors away from the Lobby of Kino der Toten. Pulling it:
draws back the stage curtain and opens the theater;
opens the door between the Lobby and the theater;
starts the projector;
switches on the perk machines, the traps and the turrets;
lets the Crawler zombies spawn from then on;
allows the teleporter to be linked and used.

Reaching the Pack-a-Punch
Turn on the power backstage.
Go to the teleporter, on the side of the stage, and press the use button on it.
Go back to the mainframe, the pad in the middle of the Lobby, to link the two. Unlike Der Riese, there is no time limit for the link.
Step into the teleporter: it is free. Everyone standing in it is sent to the projector room above the theater.
Upgrade a weapon at the Pack-a-Punch for 5000 points. Frag grenades are sold on the wall for 250.
After 30 seconds, a clock on the wall runs out and everyone is teleported out, even in the middle of an upgrade.
The teleporter then cools down, and it must be linked to the mainframe again before the next trip. Zombies cannot reach the projector room, so a trip is also a short rest; with nobody left in the main part of the map, they pile up in the seats below. While a player is inside, the theater screen shows the view from the room.

The four random rooms
On the way back from the projector room, a player is sometimes sent for a few seconds to one of four rooms before landing on the mainframe in the Lobby. A room can hold a power-up, and the three film reels of the map are hidden in them.
Samantha’s room
The bedroom of Samantha Maxis, with a Monkey Bomb on the bed, a toy chest like the Mystery Box, teddy bears, the four perk bottles set out for a tea party and a carving of the Berlin Wall with the four heroes on it as dolls.
Samantha’s room, destroyed
The same room knocked over and splashed with red, the carving buried under teddy bears and one big bear with a glowing red eye.
Dentist’s Office
A chair under large lights, and the sound of a drill.
Conference Room
A table, a projector cart, a television and a small rocket that can be launched once the three reels have been played.
Back in the Lobby, the zombies head straight for the mainframe, so the landing is often the dangerous part of the trip.

The other perks
Quick Revive
1500, or 500 in solo, in the Lobby by the bar. In solo it works without the power and revives the player alone, three times at most; after the third purchase the machine leaves the map.
Juggernog
2500, in the theater, left of the main doors.
Speed Cola
3000, in the Foyer near the MP40.
Double Tap Root Beer
2000, at the southern end of the Alley.
Mule Kick
4000, in the Upper Hall next to the door to the Foyer. It came with an update on September 27, 2011 on consoles and October 11, 2011 on PC, and only appears when the game is connected to PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE or Steam.
B2 allows a solo player to remove Mule Kick, by playing offline on Steam or with the Plutonium option, but not a co-op team.
