The secrets of Shi No Numa in Call of Duty: Black Ops: the radio message to Peter in the spawn room, the Backtracing to the future radios added by Black Ops, The One behind the Comm Room telephone, the other radios, hidden sounds, Peter McCain and the writing on the walls.
Shi No Numa has no main quest and no reward to earn. What it hides are radio messages, a song behind a telephone and a handful of sounds, and the Black Ops version adds one radio message of its own.

The only secret that can be done in the First Room. Three radios stand in the spawn room, on the top floor of the main hut.
An automated voice reads a code and a set of numbers, then Cornelius Pernell speaks to Peter: the experiment had to be moved here after the asylum was lost, “the giant” must be contained, the DG-2 experiments go on, and Doctor Richtofen and Doctor Maxis must be found. A second set of numbers closes the message. Players read the two sets as the coordinates of Area 51 and of the Tunguska site.

Added with the Black Ops version. Three more radios, one in each of three huts, must be switched on, in any order:
On top of a crate, in the room on the right.
On a shelf in a corner, in the right half of the hut.
On top of a crate, in the covered part outside, just before the door.
The last one plays a conversation between the four characters. Dempsey asks where they are, Richtofen asks “when”, Nikolai asks for his vodka, and Richtofen explains that the DG-2 overloaded the teleporter and threw them forward in time. It is the bridge between Der Riese and Kino der Toten. The Doctor’s Quarters is the quietest of the three places to listen from.

The song of the map, by Kevin Sherwood and Elena Siegman, is hidden behind the telephone of the Comm Room.
In World at War the song gave the hidden Dead Air achievement; the Black Ops version gives none.
In a small room to the left of the entrance of the Doctor’s Quarters. Someone laughs and whispers “Element 115”.
In the Storage Hut, by the Mystery Box spot. It plays the sound of the “Just the Beginning” trailer of Verrückt.
One more radio plays gunfire and screams when used.
Hold the use button on the bookshelf of the Doctor’s Quarters, near the trap switch, and a maniac laugh rings out.
A red Element 115 meteor pulses with electricity outside the map, near the path to the Storage Hut. Shoot it and the character comments.
A woman can be heard crying in the shed near the meteor.
Children can sometimes be heard singing in the Fishing Hut.
Banging on a metal door in the Storage Hut, then a whisper heard across the swamp.
The body hanging from the roof of the spawn room is Peter McCain, the American agent the first radio is addressed to; his left forearm is missing. Looked at up close, the rope does not go round his neck but comes out of his backpack. A grenade can knock him down from the roof, and the wikis report that a player who touches the body on the floor is sent back to round 1.
On a sheet of paper downstairs in the main hut, by a burning hole in the wall.
In one of the two small huts on the balcony outside the spawn room.
A note on the floor of the Doctor’s Quarters, near the perk machine, reads “It could be used to power HAARP…”.
Chalked on a crate in the Warning Room.
