Starting loadout

Every game of Der Eisendrache starts with the MR6 pistol, the knife and two frag grenades. A player who has earned the A Better Tomorrow achievement starts with the RK5 instead of the MR6. The station where the players spawn, the First Room, sells two weapons: the RK5 and the Sheiva, 500 points each.

The two First Room weapons

RK5 burst pistol, Gunsmith model, Call of Duty Black Ops III Zombies

RK5

A pistol that fires three-round bursts. A burst kills a zombie in the body for the first three rounds, and later with headshots. Its magazine holds 15 rounds.

Sheiva semi-automatic rifle, Gunsmith model, Call of Duty Black Ops III Zombies

Sheiva

A semi-automatic rifle with high damage and good accuracy, but only 20 rounds a magazine, 80 in total at the start.

Mystery Box

950 points a spin, on six spots, none of them in the station. It holds the SVG-100, Locus, Drakon, Dingo, 48 Dredge, BRM, Gorgon, RPK, Argus, 205 Brecci, Haymaker 12, HVK-30, Man-O-War, ICR-1, Sheiva, VMP, Pharo, Weevil, XM-53, the Ray Gun, Monkey Bombs and Trip Mines. The KRM-262 can be seen spinning inside, but the Box never gives it.

The Tram

The two gondolas of the station are the only source of weapons in a First Room game besides the two walls. A Tram Fuse in the control panel calls the right-hand gondola, which comes back with one of these:

Right-hand gondola

Double Points, Insta-Kill, Nuke, Max Ammo, Carpenter, Fire Sale, a Random Perk Bottle, Blood Money, or, rarely, a Ray Gun. The higher the round, the more likely a weapon or points.

Left-hand gondola

Throw grenades into it at the very start of the game, before it leaves; the fifth fuse of the game then calls it. It holds Monkey Bombs, a Pack-a-Punched HVK-30 or a Pack-a-Punched Haymaker 12.

Special weapons

Drawing an arrow with the Wrath of the Ancients, first-person view in Der Eisendrache, Call of Duty Black Ops III Zombies

Wrath of the Ancients

A bow of bone that fires explosive arrows, 60 a quiver. Feed the three dragons of the castle eight zombies each, then take it in the crypt above the Undercroft. It upgrades into four elemental bows; see the bows page.

The Ragnarok DG-4, render, Call of Duty Black Ops III Zombies

Ragnarok DG-4

Two electric spikes, built from three parts. Slammed on the ground they kill every zombie around; planted, they trap zombies and Panzersoldats. See the Ragnarok and shield page.

The Rocket Shield on a player's back, third-person view in Der Eisendrache, Call of Duty Black Ops III Zombies

Rocket Shield

A riot shield with a rocket on its back that throws the player forward through the zombies. Built from three parts.

Hitting a wall with the Plunger, first-person view in Der Eisendrache, Call of Duty Black Ops III Zombies

Plunger

A melee weapon earned through a trip back in time. After a Panzersoldat kill it catches fire for a minute and kills anything in one hit.

Death Machine

A minigun power-up. The first time a player runs over a panel of the Undercroft during anti-gravity, one appears above the workbench by the pyramid.

Pack-a-Punch

Upgrading a weapon costs 5000 points. Weapons upgraded on Der Eisendrache take a gemstone camouflage of garnet, sapphire, topaz, emerald or amethyst. A weapon can be put back in the machine to receive an Alternate Ammo Type. With the doors closed, the machine is out of reach: it needs the power, and its three spots are all far from the station.
