Die Rise: Secrets

We All Fall Down

The song of Die Rise, written and performed by Kevin Sherwood and sung by Clark S. Nova, also plays when you die. Find and activate the three teddy bears to start it; it can only be played once per game.

Spawn tower: on a shelf in the shop under the spawn room, to the right of the SVU-AS wall buy.
Buddha room: on a ledge in a corner of the tilted red Buddha room, on its upper level near the barrier.
Power room: on a sewing machine, in the back right corner near the power switch.

The song came out on the Mob of the Dead soundtrack in April 2013, and can be played from the music player of Black Ops III.

PhD Flopper

Ride the freight elevator of the spawn room down and watch the floors rush past: in one of them, a PhD Flopper machine faces the shaft, behind what looks like a force field. No one can reach it, and the perk is not in the map. On a map where falling is the main danger, guides read it as a joke by Treyarch.

Television

Some television sets beep. Hold the use button until the beep changes pitch, then press it again to play a message; one working set is a floor above the Sliquifier workbench. Five transmissions play one after another:

George Barkley

A former assistant director of the CDC warns that the contamination is now in the air everyone breathes, causing memory loss, delusion and paranoia.

The lost survivor

A woman left alone by her friends, who tried to follow “the German man” until he stopped talking to her.

The Flesh

A zealot calls survivors to consume the dead.

Saber 10

A patrol reports that Broken Arrow has been overrun, its records burned, perhaps to hide its part in the outbreak.

The offer

Barkley again, with food, water and medicine for anyone who joins him.

More secrets

Free perk

Clear a Jumping Jack round without missing a shot, and the last one drops a random perk bottle with the Max Ammo.

Stuhlinger’s groans

Playing as Samuel, you hear groans the others cannot, a sign of the time he ate the dead with the Flesh. Other players hear them only while they are down or dead.

Brutus

After the end-game score, heavy footsteps and a cell door slamming are the sounds of the Warden of the next map, Mob of the Dead.

Province 22

On Black Ops 4’s Alpha Omega, a Broken Arrow map pins northeast China as “Province 22 / Weapon Testing / BIOS Testing”.

Cut content

The characters have unused lines for weapons and items that never made it into Die Rise: the LSAT, the EMP Grenade, Stamin-Up and the Fire Sale, plus TranZit’s lines for Tombstone Soda.
