Der Eisendrache

An Austrian castle above the clouds, with a rocket on its launch pad and a dig site underneath. Der Eisendrache is widely held to be the best map of Black Ops III, for its four elemental bows and the way the whole castle works as one machine.

The bows are earned, not bought, each with its own quest, and they are what turns the map from survivable into controllable. The Panzer returns in numbers here, two at a time in the later rounds, and the Ragnarok DG-4 lets you throw a crowd into the air.

The First Room is the courtyard. Wide, symmetrical and a pleasure to run, until it is full. The Panzer rounds are the wall of this board: two of them at once, in a room with no Pack-a-Punch and no bow, is where most runs end.

Der Eisendrache is remembered for the Austrian castle and its rocket test site, the Panzersoldat, the four bows and the pyramid below the keep. The crew: Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki and Edward Richtofen. Weapons and wonder weapons: Ragnarok DG-4, Wrath of the Ancients, Wunderwaffe DG-2 and Ray Gun. Perks on the map: Juggernog, Quick Revive, Speed Cola, Double Tap Root Beer and Widow's Wine.

We do not maintain our own ruleset. For Black Ops III, ZFRR follows the rules of Zombies World Records, the reference leaderboards site for Call of Duty Zombies since 2012.

ZWR covers the submission requirements (full gameplay, sufficient game audio, no HUD covering, no theater mode) as well as the general rules on cheating, footage, breaks and disconnects, and a section specific to Black Ops III. Their page is the authority: read it there rather than a copy that would drift over time.

Crawl Space is ALLOWED in co-op games for sleeper purposes.
Patching the ray gun into the Tram is ALLOWED.
Patching All rewards is ALLOWED.

Full gameplay is required.
Multi-pov is required on co-op for players who do not present pre-game or post-game lobby.
Players must present their gum loadout either pre-game, in-game, or post-game lobby.
Twitch: Make sure your footage is highlighted as past broadcasts will not be accepted.
YouTube: Make sure your video is public or unlisted.
