Call of the Dead

A frozen Siberian shore, a beached trawler and a lighthouse, with four actors playing themselves: Danny Trejo, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michael Rooker and Robert Englund. Call of the Dead is the strangest map in the series and the only one where the antagonist is a film director.

George A. Romero follows you the whole game. He cannot be killed for good, he grows angry when you shoot him, and he electrifies the water he walks through. The Scavenger sniper waits at the top of the tower, the V-R11 turns zombies back into humans, and the Wunderwaffe is hidden away for whoever finishes the easter egg.

The First Room is the shore below the lighthouse. Wide open, exposed on every side, and shared with George, who never stops coming. That is what makes this board read differently from every other one on the site: a First Room run here is a run with a permanent second opponent who does not follow the round counter.

Rules / Informations

We do not maintain our own ruleset. ZFRR follows the competitive First Room rules written and maintained by the player Zi0 on his site B2, the reference used across the Zombies community.

B2 gathers the global rules — no memory tools, no macros, no out-of-bounds glitches, no emulators — and those specific to the First Room category: doors stay closed, fast ray, rapid fire and the fast-throw grenade glitch are forbidden, while fast knifing and split-screen remain allowed. Every change is voted on publicly.

Minimum round to be listed

A run below the required round is not added to the leaderboard. The lowest column shows what is currently on the board : beating it is enough to appear.
