Dead Ended

The Easter egg song of Gorod Krovi, written by Kevin Sherwood and sung by Clark S. Nova, a metalcore track of about four minutes. Hold the use button on three vodka bottles:

First bottle

On a couch on the ground floor of the Department Store, right after the first door.

Second bottle

Between the Department Store and the Operations Bunker, on the ground by a crashed truck, among bodies and rubble.

Third bottle

In the Supply Depot, on a shelf next to a crate marked with a white Iron Cross.

The first bottle is behind the only door of Belinski Square: the song cannot be played in a First Room game.

Ace of Spades

A re-recorded version of the Motörhead song, the one heard in the intro cutscene. It plays after interacting with three ace of spades playing cards:

Tank Factory

In the bottom left corner of a blackboard in the room of Double Tap.

Dragon Command

On Sophia’s desk.

Hatchery

On a desk to the right of the Pack-a-Punch, wedged in a book.

During the boss fight of the Easter egg, the song can also be played by hitting the three telephone poles that spark with electricity with an explosive.

Samantha’s Sorrow

A song by Brian Tuey, unlocked by a game of hide-and-seek that starts in Belinski Square.

  1. Get Monkey Bombs from the Mystery Box and throw one into three different spots while a dragon is setting them on fire.
  2. A Samantha doll appears on the ground in front of the tombstone by the Trials boards in Belinski Square. Hold the use button on it: it vanishes in a green mist and the game starts.
  3. Five dolls appear one after another in random places, each playing the Der Eisendrache version of Samantha’s Lullaby. Shoot each one before the time runs out, or Samantha laughs and the game resets.
  4. Go back to the tombstone and use the new doll there. A skeletal hand drags it into the grave, a Max Ammo appears and the song plays.

Upgraded Monkey Bombs

On Gorod Krovi, the Monkey Bomb can be upgraded. The new one pulses red and kills any zombie that touches it while still drawing the others, and its music turns electronic. Each player has their own candle and vase, visible to them only.

  1. Candle: light it with a fireball of the Guard of Fafnir, then pick it up. In solo, it is in the Supply Depot, on the table with three small wooden boxes left of the GobbleGum machine. The other spots are the second floor of the Department Store, a bunk bed of the Infirmary and a metal desk left of Double Tap.
  2. Flower vase: in solo, on the desk of the small room of Dragon Command that holds a Mystery Box spot. The others are in the Supply Depot, twice, and on the second floor of the Department Store, next to the L-CAR 9.
  3. Flask: kill 50 zombies with Monkey Bombs, shared in co-op. A zombie then drops a glowing blue flask. It never drops once Love and War is finished.
  4. The grave: in Belinski Square, throw a Monkey Bomb on the ground of your own grave, then use the green flame that lights on top of the tombstone while the monkey is active. The upgraded Monkey Bomb rises from the grave.

Audio reels and wisps

Five audio reels are hidden in the Operations Bunker, the Hatchery, the Supply Depot, Dragon Command and the Tank Factory. S.O.P.H.I.A. reads her directive logs on them: the Valkyrie Drones, a dragon that stops obeying its recall frequency, the Russian Gigant robot, the Ascalon Lance that pierces dragon hide, and the Mangler soldiers of Project Rasputin.

From round 15, ten wisps of light appear around the map, one of them in Belinski Square. Each plays a message from Dr. Monty, who explains the shattered universe, Maxis, Samantha and the plan of the crew.

Hidden details

Harvey Yena's letter to General Lehmkuhl, Gorod Krovi, Call of Duty Black Ops III Zombies

Harvey Yena’s letter

A letter to General Lehmkuhl about the dragons, Die Glocke and S.O.P.H.I.A., who wanted an unreadable password. Its last lines hint that the password is linked to Die Glocke research: it is KRONOS.

Ciphers

Twelve ciphers and three scraps of paper are spread around the map, some of them quoting the Kronorium.

“Revelations”

Music sheets titled “Revelations” rest on pianos around the map, though the song is not heard here.

“Vengeance is mine!”

Near the four wooden headstones of the spawn, a sign wrapped in barbed wire is signed “V.R”, for Viktor Reznov.
