Tower of Babble

Finish either side of the main quest, on Original. Full guide on the Easter egg page.

Don't Fire Until You See achievement icon, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

Don’t Fire Until You See

Open every door of the map in one game without catching fire once. Keep out of the lava and away from burning zombies when they die.

Standard Equipment May Vary

Pick up four of the Turbine, Zombie Shield, Turret, Electric Trap and Jet Gun in the same game.

Undead Man's Party Bus achievement icon, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

Undead Man’s Party Bus

Fit the ladder, the plow and the hatch to the bus. Do not spend the hatch on the Diner roof.

You Have No Power Over Me achievement icon, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

You Have No Power Over Me

Beat the Avogadro without taking one of his hits. An EMP Grenade is the safest way.

I Don't Think They Exist achievement icon, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

I Don’t Think They Exist

Let a Denizen latch on, then knife it off: five knife hits, two with the Galvaknuckles.

Fuel Efficient achievement icon, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

Fuel Efficient

Light a lamp post, walk under it with a Denizen on your head and jump in the hole it digs.

Happy Hour achievement icon, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

Happy Hour

Power two perk machines with Turbines and buy both before the power switch is on. Quick Revive in the First Room is the cheapest start, 500 points in solo.

The Lights Of Their Eyes achievement icon, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

The Lights Of Their Eyes

Get an EMP Grenade from the Box, gather ten zombies or more and throw it into the middle.

Dance On My Grave achievement icon, Call of Duty Black Ops II Zombies

Dance On My Grave

In co-op, buy Tombstone Soda at the Power Station, give up when downed, and pick up your Tombstone the next round.

Behind the names

  • Tower of Babble plays on the biblical Tower of Babel.
  • Don’t Fire Until You See and The Lights Of Their Eyes both come from the Bunker Hill order, “Don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes”.
  • You Have No Power Over Me is a line from the 1986 film Labyrinth. Before launch, its text named the Avogadro instead of “him”.
  • I Don’t Think They Exist is Westley’s answer about the Rodents of Unusual Size in The Princess Bride.
  • Undead Man’s Party Bus nods to Oingo Boingo’s Dead Man’s Party, and Dance On My Grave to the 1982 novel of the same name.

In a First Room game

All ten need more than the depot hall: the doors, the bus, the fog, the power and the Box are all outside. The Bus Depot Survival map, which uses the same hall, can still give The Lights Of Their Eyes, since its Box holds EMP Grenades.
