Die Maschine

BOCW Battle.net : available PC : available Xbox : available PlayStation : available

The first map of the Dark Aether story and the first of Black Ops Cold War: Projekt Endstation, an abandoned Nazi research facility in Morasko, Poland, in November 1983, where a particle experiment tore a rift into the Dark Aether. The Requiem team investigates it. The map rebuilds Nacht der Untoten on a larger scale: the original bunker ruins stand at its centre.

A game starts outdoors, in the clearing by the wreck of a plane, with the old bunker in reach. Black Ops Cold War lets every player start with a weapon of his own loadout, so a First Room run here does not depend on a wall weapon. Juggernog, Stamin-Up and Quick Revive run on generators and do not need the power. The enemies are zombies, Heavy Zombies, Plaguehounds and Megatons.

Die Maschine First Room

The Die Maschine First Room leaderboard on Zombie First Room Rankings tracks every verified run held in the starting room of Die Maschine, on Call of Duty : Black Ops Cold War. 74 records are listed here, and the best rounds on record are 275 in solo by drainbb, 59 in 2 players by Ghxstleader, 58 in 3 players by Maddog187_ and 53 in 4 players by TheFirstRoomGuy.

Die Maschine counts in the No Support ranking, in solo and with two players. Its difficulty coefficient — solo 2.5 and two players 4.1 — multiplies every round reached here, and also weighs its rounds in the ZFRR rating of the players who hold them. Three and four-player runs are listed here and count in the rating only.

First Room is the purest discipline in Call of Duty Zombies: no Pack-a-Punch run around the map, no easter egg, no train through open ground. You hold the spawn room of Die Maschine, you keep the doors closed, and you push the round counter as far as the horde allows. Every high round, world record and personal best on this page is backed by its video and checked against the reference boards before it is listed.

Rules / Informations

Black Ops Cold War First Rooms are tracked in a single category, No Support: reach the highest round you can without opening any door, every round played in full, no glitch or exploit. In solo and with two players, these First Rooms score points in the No Support ranking.

No Support means the support items are not used at any point of the game: these are the scorestreaks, such as the Sentry Turret, the Chopper Gunner or the War Machine. Loading into Outbreak first to get the extended interaction range is allowed.

Full gameplay is required, and every player's point of view in co-op. Duplicating wonder weapons is not allowed. The health, the points and the round counter are never covered. The rules of each map are listed on its leaderboard.

Game versions and platforms

The version the game is played on is part of the rules. A run played on a platform or a client refused below is not listed, whatever the round or the time — and a run already on the board is removed from it.
