The first map of Black Ops 4: the RMS Titanic on the night of April 14, 1912. Scarlett, Diego, Bruno and Shaw came aboard to steal a Sentinel Artifact. A game starts on the forecastle, the deck at the bow, just as the ship strikes the iceberg; it then stops and slowly tips forward. Most of the ship, from the bridge and the grand staircase to the flooded cargo hold and engine rooms, stays behind doors.

The forecastle holds the Strife and the Essex Model 07, 500 points each, and the Danu altar, to the right of the spawn: a First Room run here can buy one perk, the one placed in the Danu slot of the loadout. The map brings three new enemies, Catalysts, Stokers and Blightfathers.

First Room is the purest discipline in Call of Duty Zombies: no Pack-a-Punch run around the map, no easter egg, no train through open ground. You hold the spawn room of Voyage of Despair, you keep the doors closed, and you push the round counter as far as the horde allows. Every high round, world record and personal best on this page is backed by its video and checked against the reference boards before it is listed.

Rules / Informations

Black Ops 4 First Rooms are tracked in a single category, Purist (Hardcore): reach the highest round you can without opening any door or barrier, every round played in full, no glitch or exploit. These First Rooms score no ranking points.

Purist means no elixirs and no talismans, only Frag Grenades and Acid Bombs, the Welling or a wall weapon to start with, and no special weapon. Tag der Toten and Dead of the Night are played on the custom mutations their rules list.

The pregame lobby must be shown, with every player's loadout. The Project-BO4 client is allowed; nothing else may be injected into the game but fast restarts. Split-screen is allowed, bots are not, and neither is duplicating weapons. The health, the points, the round counter, the top right of the screen and the chat are never covered. The rules specific to each map are listed on its leaderboard.

Game versions and platforms

The version the game is played on is part of the rules. A run played on a platform or a client refused below is not listed, whatever the round or the time — and a run already on the board is removed from it.

Challenge Specifics

Video Requirements

All coop games require to show loadout in the lobby before launching the map. It's also recommended for solo.
Full gameplay is required.
Twitch: Make sure your footage is highlighted as past broadcasts will not be accepted.
YouTube: Make sure your video is public or unlisted.
