Shattered Veil

Sam Colton Hall, a mansion in Liberty Falls, West Virginia, on February 28, 1991. Built by Josiah Shem's cult over the Serpent Mound from 1770, then turned into a Project Janus research center that housed S.A.M., it is where Weaver, Grey, Carver and Maya bring the Sentinel Artifact.

A game starts outside, in the gardens of the mansion by the Garden Pond, where the GS45 hangs on the wall for 750 points. The enemies are zombies, Armored, Heavy and Toxic Zombies, Elder Disciples, Vermin, Parasites, Manglers, Doppelghasts, Amalgams and Abominations.

Shattered Veil is tracked outside the rankings: its records earn no ranking points, because no ranking takes it. It does carry a difficulty coefficient — solo 5 and two players 4.5 — which is what weighs its rounds in the ZFRR rating of the players who hold them.

First Room is the purest discipline in Call of Duty Zombies: no Pack-a-Punch run around the map, no easter egg, no train through open ground. You hold the spawn room of Shattered Veil, you keep the doors closed, and you push the round counter as far as the horde allows. Every high round, world record and personal best on this page is backed by its video and checked against the reference boards before it is listed.

Black Ops 6 First Rooms are tracked in five categories. Purist is the reference: reach the highest round you can without opening any door, every round played in full, no glitch or exploit. The four others, No Support and With Support, each with or without GobbleGums, count in the player ratings with a lower difficulty.

Purist means none of the game's help: no Field Upgrade, no Crafting Table, no Arsenal, no GobbleGum, no Support, no perk and no Mystery Box, and no Self-Revive beyond the one a player starts the game with.

Full gameplay is required, and every player's point of view in co-op. Every game is played on the most recent patch; saving and quitting or crashing the game to void a down or a game over is not allowed. The rules of each map are listed on its leaderboard.
