Wittenau asylum, Berlin, from the first World at War map pack. Two starting rooms either side of an electric door: the Juggernog side and the Quick Revive side, the Springfield on the wall of the second where Black Ops put the Kar98k. In solo and at two the team starts in one of them, drawn at random; at three and four the game splits it between both.

Every perk machine waits for the power, Quick Revive included, so neither side has one that works. The zombies hit through the barriers and sprint faster than on any other World at War map, the sprinters the Black Ops remaster dropped.

The Verrückt First Room leaderboard on Zombie First Room Rankings tracks every verified run held in the starting room of Verrückt, on Call of Duty : World at War. 15 records are listed here, and the best rounds on record are 21 in 3 players by MasterSmexy and 22 in 4 players by Mystic.

Verrückt is tracked outside the rankings: its records earn no ranking points, because no ranking takes it. It does carry a difficulty coefficient — — which is what weighs its rounds in the ZFRR rating of the players who hold them.

Verrückt is remembered for Wittenau Sanatorium, the perk machines' first appearance, the electric barriers, sprinting zombies and the Jugg side and the Quick Revive side. Weapons and wonder weapons: MP40, Sawn-off Shotgun, Thompson, Ray Gun and Bowie Knife. Perks on the map: Juggernog, Quick Revive, Speed Cola and Double Tap Root Beer.

First Room is the purest discipline in Call of Duty Zombies: no Pack-a-Punch run around the map, no easter egg, no train through open ground. You hold the spawn room of Verrückt, you keep the doors closed, and you push the round counter as far as the horde allows. Every high round, world record and personal best on this page is backed by its video and checked against the reference boards before it is listed.

Rules / Informations

We do not maintain our own ruleset. For World at War, ZFRR follows the competitive rules written and maintained by the player Zi0 on his site B2, the reference used across the Zombies community. In solo and with two players, these First Rooms score points in the Old School ranking.

B2 has no First Room section for World at War: its World at War rules apply, on top of the First Room itself (no door opened, every round played in full, no glitch or exploit). On PC, Plutonium and its community patch are required; the anticheat output must stay visible.

The version the game is played on is part of the rules. A run played on a platform or a client refused below is not listed, whatever the round or the time — and a run already on the board is removed from it.
