Green Run, the map that put Zombies on a bus. A whole county to cross, from the depot to the diner, the farm, the power station and the town, with the driver keeping his own schedule and the fog in between.

TranZit introduced the buildables, the Jet Gun assembled from four parts, the Navcard and the Denizens, the small creatures that latch onto your head in the fog. Avogadro, the electric boss, arrives once the power is on. The map is as much about logistics as about shooting.

The First Room is the bus depot, where the whole route begins. Most players leave it within a minute, which is exactly the point here: nobody leaves. Its wall weapons and its two doorways are everything you get, and the fog outside keeps the rest of the county out of reach.

TranZit counts in one ranking. The difficulty coefficient multiplies every round reached here, which is how a round 30 on a tight starting room can be worth more than a round 50 on an open one: “High Rounds” First Room (solo 7, two players 6.7).

TranZit is remembered for the bus across Green Run, the fog and the denizens, the buildable tables and the power station and the tunnel. The crew: Russman, Abigail "Misty" Briarton, Marlton Johnson and Samuel Stuhlinger. Weapons and wonder weapons: Jet Gun, Galvaknuckles, Ray Gun and Bowie Knife. Perks on the map: Juggernog, Quick Revive, Speed Cola, Double Tap Root Beer, Stamin-Up and Tombstone Soda.

First Room is the purest discipline in Call of Duty Zombies: no Pack-a-Punch run around the map, no easter egg, no train through open ground. You hold the spawn room of TranZit, you keep the doors closed, and you push the round counter as far as the horde allows. Every high round, world record and personal best on this page is backed by its video and checked against the reference boards before it is listed.

Rules / Informations

We do not maintain our own ruleset. ZFRR follows the competitive First Room rules written and maintained by the player Zi0 on his site B2, the reference used across the Zombies community.

B2 gathers the global rules (no memory tools, no macros, no out-of-bounds glitches, no emulators) and those specific to the First Room category: doors stay closed, fast ray, rapid fire and the fast-throw grenade glitch are forbidden, while fast knifing and split-screen remain allowed. Every change is voted on publicly.

Game versions and platforms

The version the game is played on is part of the rules. A run played on a platform or a client refused below is not listed, whatever the round or the time — and a run already on the board is removed from it.

Black Ops II on Plutonium

A First Room run played on Plutonium must use the B2FR patch, the First Room community patch maintained by B2, in its latest version: a version becomes invalid once it is a month old and a newer one has been out for 72 hours. Without it, a PC run is not comparable to the rest of the board, and it is refused whatever the round or the time.

A run that breaks these rules is not accepted, whatever the round reached. If a username, a nationality or a score looks wrong, tell us through the contact form.
