Kino der Toten

BO3 PC : available Xbox : available PlayStation : available Plutonium : not available

Kino der Toten remastered for Black Ops III, in the first Zombies Chronicles pack. The same theatre, the same teleporter, the same Nova Crawlers out of the vents, with the lighting and the textures redone.

What is new is not in the map, it is in the hands: thrust jump, slide and wall run. GobbleGums are left out of every record. Routes that were impossible in 2010 open up, and the pace of the horde is not the same either.

The First Room is the foyer you know, played at Black Ops III speed. That alone is why this board is kept apart from the original: the room is identical and the run is not.

Kino der Toten First Room

The Kino der Toten First Room leaderboard on Zombie First Room Rankings tracks every verified run held in the starting room of Kino der Toten, on Call of Duty : Black Ops III. 157 records are listed here, and the best rounds on record are 55 in solo by Deltanews, 47 in two players by Chokdee_33, 46 in 3 players by Nozfury and 40 in 4 players by BAN MY XBOX.

Kino der Toten counts in one ranking. The difficulty coefficient multiplies every round reached here, which is how a round 30 on a tight starting room can be worth more than a round 50 on an open one: “High Rounds” First Room (solo 3.4, two players 2.5).

Kino der Toten is remembered for the abandoned theatre, the Nova crawlers, the teleporter to Pack-a-Punch and the projection room. The crew: Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, Edward Richtofen and Samantha Maxis. Weapons and wonder weapons: Thundergun, MP40, Bowie Knife and Ray Gun. Perks on the map: Juggernog, Quick Revive, Speed Cola, Double Tap, PhD Flopper and Stamin-Up.

First Room is the purest discipline in Call of Duty Zombies: no Pack-a-Punch run around the map, no easter egg, no train through open ground. You hold the spawn room of Kino der Toten, you keep the doors closed, and you push the round counter as far as the horde allows. Every high round, world record and personal best on this page is backed by its video and checked against the reference boards before it is listed.
